The
Caroni Distillery is no more and we have secured the last remaining
stocks of this distillation.
Distilled on the patent stills of Caroni, this heavy rum has
been matured in small American oak casks at the hot and humid
warehouses on the island.
Here
the spirit has been transferred from clear high fruit spirit into
amber nectar with soft sweet tones on the nose, baked banana, spiced
fruit and soft oak leading to a palate that fills the mouth with
sensation and complexity. The
length and depth of flavour is surprising, sweet tones go long on
the palate, the spirit is controlled and the flavours stay long in
the mouth in perfect harmony.
Enjoy
this experience for when this stock has gone this Caroni will be but
a memory.
