Distilleries operating.
This example from the Mount Gay distillery has been matured
in American Oak and is typical of the wonderful soft round style
from the island.
Pale
gold in colour, the nose is soft and sweet with well controlled wood
leading to an open easy palate with depth of fruit and spice and
splendid vanilla tones.
The finish is well balanced and leaves the mouth fresh and
satisfied.
